Summer vacations (1)
“Hi mom… yes don’t worry I’m taking some vacations this summer… yeah don’t worry I’m not taking my laptop for work… just watching movies, going to the beach swimming and tanning…” That’s what Eleanor Biswell says to her mom over the phone.
Eleanor is a woman in her early 30’s working so hard in a high-tech company somewhere in Texas. She works there for 6 years and it’s only the first time she takes real vacations… well it’s her boss and her mom that decided for her to go to vacations.
Eleanor received a confirmation email that morning talking about her ticket back to Florida and a word from her mother saying: “This ticket is for you and paid by your boss. You better take some vacations alright hunnie…”
Then she receives another email this time from her boss saying:
Dear Eleanor,
It’s only after that letter Eleanor had that phone call from her mother, doing as if she knew nothing about her mother’s implication. She finally does her luggage with all her summer outfits until she realizes she’s got only one or two summer dresses and to see this makes her realizing she has sacrificed everything for this job and starts sobbing in the middle of her living room.
When she stops sobbing, she hears her door bell ringing it’s her Uber paid by her mom, she finally goes to the airport wearing the clothes she was wearing for her job day, a blue top with a massive cleavage, houndstooth black and white skirt, pantyhose and her long boots with heels, all dressed like she wanted to seduce a man for a contract… she passes easily the customs and her luggage so light was taken care of. She’s waiting for her plane for another two hours and she takes these few pictures in the restroom of a Starbucks then she takes her usual Chai Latte.
While she’s waiting for her beverage, she publishes the pictures saying:
The few people commenting say that she finally takes vacations and others say that she really goes to vacations dressed like this… While sipping her beverage, Eleanor is scrolling on her phone, watching videos, laughing to stupid videos, it’s been a while she didn’t do that. She keeps doing it once in her plane bringing her to Florida and when she arrives at Miami Airport it’s another Uber waiting for her with a big card, she takes her bag and goes to her mother’s house.
During the travel, Eleanor feels lightheaded, for a very long time she hasn’t felt like this, she even smiles to people with this genuine smile she used to have in college. Unbeknownst to her, Eleanor loses a few years from her 31 years old, she looks now 25, her face in perfect condition loses her years of worrying and hard work, her dark circles are still here under make-up but they’re less prominent.
When she arrives at her mother’s house, she comes out of the car as her mother comes out of her house looking younger too but none of them seem to realize. She goes upstairs in her old bedroom untouched since last time she slept there with white walls after taking off all her posters she used to have before. She puts her trunk on her bed, opens it and finds it full of girly clothing, things she used to wear when she was in her early 20’s more sundresses, bikinis, her body still changed, her breast deflates since she offered herself her boobs operation after graduating from college.
Her hair also changes from her blond straight hair with large dark roots; her hair is now naturally chestnut and a bit curly. Her eyes dark brown with lenses are once again naturally hazel. She smells herself and realizes she needs a shower. She takes off her top, her skirt, sexy Victoria Secret laundry, pantyhose and boots, she takes her shower and as water runs on her body, her skins peels off her body revealing tanned skin like she was in vacations for weeks already, her breast already small goes even smaller like it was only AA cup breast, her piercings and discreet tattoos she had on her 18th birthday disappear, something painful happens in her mouth as braces appear on her teeth with metal braces, brackets and shining white rubber bands… between her legs, her hymen comes back making her virgin again as her memories suddenly change, losing all her years of experience, her working years, her college years, her diplomas, her friends, her boyfriend, even her high school years as she barely finishes middle school to be in freshman year again.
When she finally comes out of the bathroom, she looks like a teenage girl again and nothing seems wrong, she goes into her room full of posters again but this time it’s more Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter. Her phone is still the iPhone 16 but this time it has a pink phone case, a picture of her with some of her friends from school and cheer squad, in her phone only bubbly music, her parents and friends phone numbers, and pictures she takes like a real pro.
On her bed no longer her working clothes, but a summer dress and a cute two pieces swimsuit and the following word:
Eleanor or Ellie as she prefers to be called, smiles revealing her braces as she puts on her new swimsuit and goes outside joining her parents, her older brother and some other people. In her previous life, Eleanor never had a dad or a brother, and now when she comes out, she sees her mom and a man she knew before as her former boss but now it’s just… dad and Colton her older brother.
Her family and friends are in awe seeing her this cute as her mom finally says: “Oh wow you are stunning hunnie…”
Her father says: “Your mom is right hunnie… OK… everyone… say hello to our new high school girl here… Ellie has outstanding results this year so it’s our pleasure to tell you that you’ve been accepted to your dream school…”
Saying this, her father hands her an ID from her new high school saying:
Watching her new card, Ellie smiles and hugs her parents and brother, she takes the pose and her brother takes these pictures with her phone and a bit later while she’s tanning outside, Ellie publishes the pictures saying:
