Pride Month (1)
Madison Vera Grueber and Brooke Ashley Betson are both in their 40’s, they both went to the same high school, married both their high school sweethearts, went to prom with them the same year but after all these years… everything just went down, their husbands who are still best friends after all these years cheated on their wives and were also convicted of first-degree murder…
During the trial, both women were together facing the humiliation of their husbands doing all these things then they talked together around coffee, realizing they haven’t truly spoken together all these years until they realize that… they had feelings for each other and had so much more in common than they realize.
As days and weeks pass, Madison and Brooke don’t go to the prosecution and their husbands know their penalty… they’re condemned to death penalty as their lawyers do their best to save them and change the penalty to life imprisonment.
Meanwhile the lawyers do their best to save their clients, Madison and Brooke take some good time together or at least they try… because paparazzi follow them everywhere and when they want to take a cocktail in a fancy restaurant they just can’t do it.
Finally Brooke explodes and says: “Why can’t they just leave us alone goddam it…”
Madison replies “I don’t know babe… but sometimes I wish any of this never happened… I wish I knew our feelings for each other on that prom day… so we wouldn’t never be related to this mess…”
Brooke lovingly strokes Madison’s hand and says: “I wish it too my love…”
At this moment a great rainbow appears out of nowhere and the world seems to stop as a being appears all smiling dressed up with a rainbow outfit and says: “Hello there… my name is Rainbow Fairy… I’m a fairy and I’m here to tell ya that your wish is about to be realized… of course you can tell me to fuck off and be back in your actual life… but I can tell you if you do… y’all life ends soon because of your husbands… but if you accept I can tell y’all you’re going to be happy and back few hours before that prom of yours… then you can fuck off those guys and live your love… of course your memories will be wipe out but you remember your love for each other… what do you say?”
Madison and Brooke are in complete shock… they believe they’re in a very bad trip but something in the back of their heads make them realize it’s true… and they say yes… as soon as they say yes in unison it’s dark hole only to wake up their bedrooms when they were still teenagers… their Taylor Swift posters, they have lots of pictures of themselves in cheers outfits and pictures of them with their boyfriends and pictures of them together and at this moment it clicks in their heads and whisper almost in unison miles away from each other: “I’m in love with her…”
It’s time to get ready for prom, their moms took take of their hair and make-up then it’s time for dress, Madison puts on her blue dress as she adjusts it, she smiles to herself revealing her braces she wears since a year ago, Brooke wears her red dress wearing also braces.
The girls put their earrings and heels then go to the prom with their boyfriends first… they have an argument in each couple in the limousine then when they arrive, they almost bump into each other and at this moment the girls understand it’s their moment… the boys start talking to each other, they completely forget about the girls… for the moment and the girls go together in the party, they dance and have so much together realizing that they’re meant to be together…
Later on the boys realize what happened and they run inside the prom to find the girls but it’s too late… they’re taking the official picture together and kiss each other doing a flip off and laugh about it as they leave together the party… Later that evening both guys decide to break up with the girls but now they couldn’t care less as they publish the picture in collab saying this:
